Massive Favour Please!! Airport Picture Requests

Hi all,

Long time lurker, occasional poster. I'm getting married to my lovely fiance Daniella in August and thanks to many of you, honeymoon is booked on points!

Now our wedding is 'travel' themed, so are going to be printing some artwork for directions of where things are in the venue. This is no way a BA request, but as such an active forum with many UK based travellers, I thought this would be best. If not, please feel free to move.

I am after some pictures of the following:

Check In Desk (with the screen above it).

Airport Signage (toilets, lounges, bars, chapel/multi faith prayer room / gate numbers.

I would be really grateful if anyone has and doesn't mind me using or could take some pictures? I won't be stepping on a plane until our Honeymoon :(

Google is your friend.

I've spent 2 hours googling (sadly), and most pictures are either very small, or covered with watermarks.

Have you looked at the Heathrow Media Library?

I'd normally be more than happy to fulfill this request, but in the current climate I suspect getting my camera out in the middle of an airport and taking a bunch of pictures of random signs and the like would result in me missing my flight while some security staff gave me an anal probe. Not sure I am up for that.

Try the auction catalogue for Heathrow T1. Plenty of pictures in there. Quality might not be high enough though.

You might even buy an actual check-in desk...

I actually came across this on HFP. I was wondering how much these sort of items would go for, signage too....

Thanks, sadly it's all the blue 'BA' branded stuff. I'm after the generic black on yellow signage. Thanks again though! ^

I'm assuming guests seated on your top table(s) will be able to use a priority check-in desk ...:)

The Yellow/Black and Purple signage is all the responsibility of the airport; perhaps it would be worth emailing the media team (contact details on my earlier link) to see if they can set you up with some templates? Would be better than scraping something from a photo and then stretching it out for printing!

I will have a rummage in my photo albums. I have been known to take numerous 'random snaps'.

Give me an hour or so.

Guests on the back tables get smaller chairs and have to buy their food and drink
