I actually like the current CW as I find the window seat much more private. Jumping over someone's legs is not great I admit.

FWIW I don't mind it either. I too like the window seat for privacy and normally once I'm settled down I tend not to be up and down (gracefully of course) leapfrogging my neighbours anyway...
I am rather curious about the attendant comment though... I've never been lavished with anything like the level of attention that would warrant a wash :-)

In view of the content of the first post, particularly in respect of rule 16, this would seem an appropriate moment to close this thread. Making statements of potential violence against cabin crew is never acceptable on FT.
