Thank you both for your input. I too have used AA Admiral Clubs and Flagship Lounges on arrival with my BAEC Gold status but have never tried BA, as JFK flying AS is the only time it would be practical for me.

I will be the data point I want to see and report back

Be prepared to be disappointed. The BA entry rules require a boarding pass for an eligible departing flight.

As do the AA rules, but as others and myself have pointed out they are sometimes flexible and the book rules aren’t always what’s in practice.

It’s no problem anyways, because I’m also an Alaska elite I have access to the AS lounge next door and this exercise will be moreso to itch my curiosity to see if I can do it

Update: During my last arrival, I was able to enter no problem

Afternoon,

Flying in Business, from BUD-LHR-BOS-LAX and back again, I am currently Silver with BA, and better half has no status, would we both be allowed access to the Flagship Lounge in LAX on the return leg?

Yes, your silver status entitles you to a guest.

Is LAX - BOS a 3-class service with Flagship Business and Flagship First? If so, you’ll both have Flagship lounge access regardless of status.

Travelling Vueling on a BA issued ticket on Sunday. Does this allow me access to the Gatters F Lounge (I am GGL).

no. It’s only if you book a non oneworld flight on a ba ticket and as a ba codeshare that a gold or GGL would get access to a ba lounge.

That’s not what the lounge access doc suggests!

IB and BA vueling codeshares allow access to the BA lounge if the ticket is 075 or 125 stock and the passenger is BAEC Gold (or higher) or IBP Platino (or higher). No guests are allowed.
