Question Tea & Coffee in WT+

Quick question. In WT+ are the options simply tea or coffee or can cappuccinos etc. be ordered?

You don't get in CW either. In First they may give it a go if the Nespresso thingy or 787-9 drip thingy is working. If GMSfL or particularly goodlooking, you may, may be able to get it in CW if you ask very nicely.

You'll have to fly the ME3 to enjoy a full coffee menu in J. No chance in WTP sorry.

Just a question; are you allowed to brew your own coffee on a plane?

Handpresso. It can be done, and I have done it with mixed results. It can be a bit fiddly in confined spaces. The biggest difficulty is sourcing on board water at the right temperature. Before we divorced, I made some in the lufty galley on a couple of occasions with the hottest water they could provide.

A small kerosene torch ought to heat a 2-cup kettle quite nicely. Pour that over a travel filter when it's at a boil and it will make quite a nice cup. Best to do this on the floor in the aisle.

Heck, me too! The day BA will finally join about 50 other airlines in finally serving espresso in J will already be some sort of revolution! In fact, I'm not sure any other legacy European airline does not serve espresso in long haul J?

I think there have been various threads about bringing your own pods onboard for the machine, although I can't recall what the consensus was or if there was one more likely.

I find it safest to stick to the tea generally on BA.

very true, I didn't think of them but was indeed shocked that even their new A350s don't have espresso machines.

I once had a cappuccino brought to me from F when I was seated on CW upper deck and I'm certainly not GMSfL, so I'll take the compliment...
