Don't I get Fast Track if I am in Club World?

Fast Track Security as CW pax, but Immigration is herded depending on Nationality etc.! However, Gatwick does have a 'paid for' priority scheme for immigration as mentioned up-thread at Post #20 .

Worth the money for minimising connection-stress?

Got it, thanks. I guess I was thinking of the Fast Track passport check at LHR when connecting. I will buy this if Club World doesn't provide a Fast Track immigration, and I'll buy the Flex ticket for the Airport Express. If there's a big traffic calamity and I miss my flight, I'll just partake of the wonders of LHR and hope to get on the next flight to TLS..... Elemis spa, please! ha ha.

NP ... your journey will be as seamless as UK can manage (E&OE)

LGW - Premium Gatwick Passport Control, Ł9.99 each.
NEX - Flex ticket in case of Early/Late arrival, baggage handled by coach driver.
LHR - Drop-off at Bus Stop 13, below the Club desks in Zone H [a short flat walk to the elevators]. Priority Security as Club Europe Pax + Club Lounge Access.

Only downside will be the on-board experience in CE to TLS

The annoyance of the LGW-LHR connection [or the other way round] is that you really have to start over from square one at the next airport. There is no "connection" for either pax or bags.

Thank you everyone for your advice. I am going to purchase the fast track immigration at LGW, the ticket on the NEX bus with the flex option, and pray for luck. My flight has changed and instead of 4 hours I now have 3 hours to make it, which is the minimum connect time. The only good news is that I land at LGW at 10:40 am instead of 9:40 am, so I am hoping this means the motorway will be faster. Google maps indicates "no delays" when you plug in that time of the morning vs. earlier, but I will of course defer to you locals.

I have a fair amount of fear that I may end up missing the connection and spending quite some time in the Galleries Lounge at LHR.....

With three hours I think you'll be fine and have plenty of time.

Likewise, best of luck. A better time to be on the M25, so should be a simple 1 hour run round the M25 to the desks at LHR. Three hours should be fine, as KARFA says.

If the M25 is closed for whatever reason, take the train as a plan B. Check googlemaps/apple maps when you land to see if there is crazy congestion or not!

Will do... thanks all for the encouragement, and I will be sure to come back here and post to let you know how it turns out. Now that there's an OAK - LGW flight, I'm guessing there will be many more people attempting this connection.

Thank you again!

The suspense continues to build!

Would goldengate be bold enough to give us his flight details (including date)? Then we can monitor his progress, beer and pocorn in hand (oh, a bit early for beer, LPGS will have to do). Flightradar24 in meltdown, as hundreds of us log in to follow the inbound flight! The same on the NEX tracking website

Perhaps a few FT-ers could Rugby-tackle people blocking his path at either airport (C-W-S plays regularly)? Is there a friendly policeman here to provide a blue-light escort to the NEX coach on the M23/M25? Is there a Media crew available? Hollywood would love this!!

Ha ha!! Perhaps rose petals as I disembark?? This post made my day.

Tues June 13 BA 2278 OAK to LGW (which often leaves a few minutes late)
Weds June 14 BA 374 LHR to TLS (which often leaves a few minutes early)

Wish me luck! And never, ever too early for beer! The Amazing Race is on....

Whooooo ... we're streaking through LGW that morning too.

JER-LGW-ANU. Only 2 hours at LGW, though, which is tight enough for my blood pressure. We arrive on BA2767, ETA 0810, and depart on BA2157, ETD 1028.

Hmm ... you arrive at 0925. I will try to remember to wave in passing!

Ha... actually as luck would have it, this is the ONE version of the OAK LGW flight that week that leaves an hour later, so arrival into LGW at 10:40 am... please have the runway cleared by then for my arrival.
