Match.com and eHarmony subscriptions via Gate365’s US portal

Is anyone else considering this? Link attached for first time users to earn 150 Avios per USD spent - https://www.shopping.ba.com/entertai...e/match-com-us

Seems like a very cheap route to some Avios and maybe someone to use your companion voucher with!

Sadly redirects you to the UK site so no Avios or the love of my life for me.

Am having a look at this, what are the odds of them not awarding the Avios though if using a BAEC accpunt registered in the UK. Although if I am 'travelling' in the US does that give me a right to use the US Gate365 portal?

There are some good deals in the UK version for general shopping too having had a quick look...

Avios.com carries a few retailers not on BA shopping portal - also worth a look.

Yes, although unrelated booking.com on avios.com is currently 8 avios per 1 spent, much better than topcashback at 3%.

Yes very true, have actually gone through them for a few recent bookings with very decent returns.

I'm a US member and I've ordered from both the US and UK eStores and been credited okay. You just get a warning about making sure the vendor will ship to you, wherever you are.

I noticed that the Gate 365 branding seems to have been dropped, it's now the British Airways Avios eStore.

Right. The question is I suppose if you are US based (I'm assuming that means account is registered in US) have you ever ordered from a vendor that was only available in the UK and not on the US site.
That would be my only concern with this.

I signed up for this deal as outlined in the OP's post and am a US resident but did not switch from the default UK site when purchasing. I had all the 150 point photos along the way and this makes me feel better about not switching to the US site. Fingers crossed it works out....

That's really odd you're right.

Ive also just clicked on OP link and it does in fact show the match.com offer with 150 per $1 on the UK site. However all of the offers below it seem to be per 1 and when I searched for match.com in the UK store earlier, nothing came up.

Potentially, how much money could one spend on match.com? Wondering if I could get 30k for 200USD.
