Just another quick question regarding the 2-4-1. We are planning a JNB run next year and are flexible with the dates around June in F. Clearly the idea is to book as far in advance as possible.

Having done a dummy Avios reward seat booking 11 months in advance, there appears to be good availability. Are the Avios rewards seats the same as the 2-4-1 reward seats, so if there are 4 Avios reward seats, there will be 4 2-4-1 seats available?

Thanks

All avios seats are the same, you just need 2 to be available to use the 241

Yes, 241 seats come out of the Avios rewards seats allocation. So if you see 4 seats on a dummy Avios booking, you should be able to snag those for your 241s.

And Andyb747F if you see four F seats to JNB, do not dither!! Grab them immediately, even if no return available at that point
