Oops.

Thanks for the correct link.^

I cannot even blame too much wine tasting for the error!

Castelnau brut as J silver medal (and vintage as gold?), JL Salon not making the F podium? Funny stuff really. I'll let those who believe in this celebrate!

Some English sparkling wines are fantastic, Gusbourne is a particular favourite.

Those poo-pooing English sparkling wine might reflect that Tattinger has purchased 69ha of land in Kent and plan to produce 300,000 bottles of English sparkling wine a year.

British Airways introduces English sparkling wine to first class menu

I tried the Bolney last week, and it was smashing. Very effervescent and foamy on the first few sips, but it then settles down. Reminded me very much of Aldi's Veuve Monsigny (which i suppose is a good review for an English Sparkling Wine!). About time British Airways have a British Wine on the menu.

That was my thought too. I am sure they had something English in Peter Nixson's time.

A surprising treat in T5 GF at the moment is a pretty good 2013 Chassagne Montrachet au pied du mont chauve. Far above the other wines. I must admit that work might suffer this afternoon

Enjoyed a nice Châteauneuf-du-Pape in GF on Friday, but too busy drinking it to make a note of the details!

What's the champagne/prosecco on offer in Galleries Club lounges?

Also are there any reasonable wines in GC at the moment?

Updated the wiki with the wines that were served on my recent LHR-AUH flight in F. Pretty sure the same wines were available from DXB but I do not have the wine list.

Stuck to the LPGS and Pomerol.
