Routes from Terminal 3

There was a period when landings tended to be mostly from the South, circling over the Bay then North over the port to land on the North-Westerly runway, which gave a superb view of the city and the beginning of the calanques to the South. Most of my recent landings have been straight in from the North over the étang de Berre, which is less interesting.
I'd also recommend the Radisson Blu Vieux Port. Rooms aren't spectacular but can get lovely views of the port and cheaper than the IC I suspect. Friendly staff too. It's especially good when paid for by BA thanks to EU261.

Thanks both for the hotel recommendations,
I must say that the IC Marseille looks fantastic!
Thanks C-W-S for the departure list, much easier way to look at destinations by departure time. Could I ask where you obtained it from? EF?

I have done this on a couple of occasions.
The most extreme cases meant about 7 hours at the airport to entertain my sister in law in GF before her afternoon flight to YYZ and my evening flight to ATH.

As Ldnn1 points out, however, it does come with a price tag compared to other options although it remains on the whole quite reasonable compared to ICs in a lot of destinations.

Reviving this thread...
Been flying out of T3 to WAW for a couple years now. Yet, seems flights after April 1 to WAW are going out of T5 again?
Did BA make some big route changes here, or maybe it’s just a select few destinations?

WAW moved to T5 late last year. There are occasional route transfers between t3 and T5. For an up to date list see post 2 of the T5 connections guide linked to in the sticky.
