Hello all
I am flying in Y on a 10 abreast LGW bird. I have the option of the bulkhead row 20 or the exit row 32. I’m hoping that someone on here can say which is better. Row 20 is the bassinet row too so I guess there might be a risk of being turfed out or even having a child occupant.

I just made a WT booking for Boston next month and have a question about exit-row seating.
I checked this post and the wiki, The BA Source and Seatguru but still am not sure (wow - there are so many variations!).
I'm after a window seat where I will be relatively undisturbed but yet can get up without bothering anyone. On the westbound, an actual window would be nice, on the eastbound, I don't mind. The sources give somewhat conflicting info about the intrusion of the slides (is it like the A319/2X bulkhead? worse? better?) and the window situation on these specific seat maps. Can anyone help? Also, westbound, I cannot select 16K (bassinet?) - would this typically become available at some time?
I'm currently in 26K westbound and 22A eastbound.
Many thanks!

Sorry if this is in there somewhere - it's a long thread and I was scrolling super quickly.
But the 12F LHR aircraft - those refurbed up the front? Or old cabins? Or a mixture? Just wondering if I should bring a tablet if I want a movie depending on whether the IFE will resemble the kit used for the Apollo missions or something a little, ahem, more contemporary.
Cheers

Question: We're flying LHR-MAD BA460 in J in May with a lap infant and our plane got swapped to a 777. The seatmap shows the J cabin from rows 10-15, but row 15 where the bassinets are is blocked both on BA and EF. In the past, I was always able to select these seats when I had the lap baby on the reservation. Is there any other reason these are blocked or should I just call in to get the seats?

Hi
Just had my seats changed on LGW - Fort Lauderdale and spotted that it is a 32J 777.
slightly disappointed as was hoping for an Flub seat :-)
I cannot see a 32J 777 listed, is this a refurbished 777 with 10 across Y?

On the 9th December I am off to LAS from Gatwick on a 10 abreast 777 (BA2277) in Y. The second economy cabin has the extra legroom emergency seats in row 33 rather than row 32 as outlined on BaSource and elsewhere. I have flown on one of these 10 abreast 777 and the emergency legroom were indeed row 32 not row 33 as my flight is showing currently..
Ba and Expert Flyer both confirm that its row 33 but nothing else supports this. Could some planes be different from others within the same vertical ?
Its a long way away but as I gold I nabbed the Extra legroom seats a would not want to be sitting in the row behind the extra legroom should the current seat map be wrong.
Any comments greatly appreciated.

It appears there is going to be another configuration by then as LAS uses the YMMx fleet due to the crew rest not the VIIx fleet which are the only reconfigured so far. When the first YMMx 3 class is reconfigured that will be my guess. Not the same aircraft.
I suggest looking at the LGW B772 reconfigure thread: https://www.flyertalk.com/forum/brit...2018-a-33.html
They will have more information when the new configuration appears.
Summary: Different new configuration from (May 2019). Exit will be as BA/EF say so Row 33.
