BA 772 WTP bulkhead seats. 21A/K or D, Window or Aisle.

I’m on BA 297 LHR- Chicago Saturday afternoon and have the option of WTP bulkhead seats - 21A 21K or my existing seat 21D.

i read somewhere there is slightly more leg room on the A/B seats (K and J are taken).

Would 21A / 21K be a better selection than 21D?

i looked in the seating thread but didn’t find too much.

I flew on the same aircraft type (different route) recently in 21J. If there was a difference in legroom between ABJK and DEFG it was negligible. Legroom was adequate for average height people like me, though you cant fully stretch your legs.

There's a slight offset between the aisle and the gap through the bulkhead. I prefer the D seat and can put my feet "under the curtain", sort of. While always realizing someone might step on them.

48J 777-200 - Club World

I’ve a (nearly) wide open cabin on the way back from BKK (day flight) in April. For a couple I’m thinking either 5A+B (rear of the front cabin) or 10A+B (front of the rear mini cabin).

My thinking is that 5 will have direct aisle access for the A passenger whereas 10 will have no window passenger to step over B’s legs. Any other considerations?

Service-wise, is front of the mini cabin preferable to rear of the front cabin?

Service is from the front, which puts the mini cabin at a slight disadvantage.

BOM-LHR BA138 21Dec

Flying BOM-LHR on BA138 21 Dec (daytime flight) on one of the above with economy starting from Row 26.

Currently in 26A, as I prefer a window but this is showing as “red” on seatguru. Has anyone flown this recently and if so would you agree with seatguru that another window seat (ie any other window seat in the cabin) would be better than 26A? Preferred front of cabin so it’s easier to get in and out if I need to, though choosing a window seat as it’s quite rare I get up and I want to sleep.

Hoping for an AUP as no POUG is showing up.

Thanks!

Hi TedToToe, thanks, but I figured being at the front of the mini cabin might be like being at the front of a service run?

My experience, ex MRU and YYZ on these aircraft, is that the service starts at the front of the forward cabin and moves back and then into the mini cabin.

Still confused and appreciate input. Flying from BKK in CW will be myself and the better half. Enjoy window seats at least for one of us. Any suggestions please.

777-300 row 10

just booked honeymoon flights from LHR to SYD via a midnight call to the USA exec club number which me and MrVI are very excited about. The only unfortunate thing is that’s it’s the 777-300. We are booked into 10A/B. Seat guru talks about misaligned windows. Can anyone point to a photo of this seat pair or know how bad the misalignment is. More keen on avoiding step overs for the aisle seat but if I want be able to gaze out the window during the 22 hours.

77-300 J seats

On the 777-300 SYD-LHR is there any reason not to take 16A/B or 16J/K? Noise from the WC?
On the seat map they look a lot like 7A/B on the 788 I.e direct aisle access for the window seat. Are those in 16J/K likely to be bumped for crew rest like 7JK on the 788?

Am I missing anything?
Many thanks for any tips.

They are never crew rest seats, I don’t think you will have much disturbance from the toilets, I often see GCHs in these seats and have never had any complaints.

Apologies if this question has already been raised. We are returning overnight from TPA-LGW in March. Looking at the seating plan the aircraft appears to be a four class 777. Does it fly with an empty F cabin?

Basically yes, a 4 class aircraft on a 3 class route otherwise know on here as FLUB. The general rule is unless CW is oversold then it won't be used. (source BA staff, CIHY etc)

Lots of positive and negative varying experiences of those moving into F, seats stick and also others doing the same but even as late as the gate, the beep goes and then it's then back to a 'worse' CW seat etc with lots of reading here!
