For Club Suites, on any aircraft, there really isn't much to choose from since unlike legacy Club World seating there isn't really much difference between them all. Bulkheads have a bit of transmitted vibration but 777s vibrate anyway. That's about it. Only the centre seats allow a couple to talk to each other, and they don't have windows. So really any window seats, mid of the cabin, will do, it's quite standardised. For South Africa mornings, there is a slight advantage of being on the starboard side to see the long plains of Africa after you wake up. But depending on the approach into CPT, the port side may work out best too.

Please could I have some advice on the best seats on the 777 in club suite? I’m not super super au fait but this is a 777 with no first and club starts from row 1. I can see all seats available aside from 1E and 1F. We are a couple but prefer window seats for the view. I’m BA bronze so shouldn’t be able to select any seat for free this far in advance but I think they broke something when they rebooked our flights so want to make the most of this power!

I should say this is for LHR to CPT, so would appreciate any advice on which side is best for the view too
Have answered your query on the other thread!!

Thank you for your very helpful answer. It’s our first time visiting CPT, so I think we will hope for a good view on the starboard side.

Thank you! Just realised that leg was rebooked into J from previous I class, which is why I can select seats - silly me.

there was a photo above which showed a bulkhead CS seat - I think to highlight there is more leg room than the other seats? Anyone know if this applied to row 1 in the 77L? I also had an earlier query about whether row 1 on the 77L was missing a window as Aerolopa seems to indicate. (Also for LHR-CPT)

There new seats are bolted together in a standard unit. The legroom is identical, and that photo shows the standard arragement.

Hello, quick query on a 777-300 with old Club World seats. I appreciate the equipment can still change. It's the last flight from Boston to LHR at 9.40pm in early May. My main concern is making sure that no one needs to step over a stranger or be stepped over by a stranger.
Based on this would you recommend going for 10AB and 11B or 15A and 16AB?

I've currently gone for 15/16 so that 2 people can have a window seat instead of 2 on the aisles. I'll sit in 16B and the proximity to the toilets doesn't bother me. We will eat before the flight so getting whatever is left doesn't bother us. Are there any other issues with 15A16AB that I can't forsee? I've only ever flown old club world as 1 or a 2 but think I've made the best choice?

Thank you

My partner and I going on our honeymoon so want to sit together in the middle seats on a club suites flight from LHR to CPT. We don't have status so need to bite the bullet and pay. Remaining options are 1E/F or 10-14 E/F. Out of the options, which would be the best to go for? Any help appreciated. Thanks

Unless you are desperate for a window seat, and it’s all that remains (I should have recognised that as a potential issue), do it sit in 8K on a CS 772.

Been told three times now “We keep forgetting that seat is there”

8K is a great seat if travelling alone. Extra privacy as no one next to you and close to the Club Kitchen. Only downside is that it’s close to the toilets and galley but I didn’t notice any noise disturbance.

Some would argue that might be an advantage.

Was surprised at how much bigger the foot coffin was in the bulkhead seats on the 777. Neither my wife or I could fit our feet in laying down in row 6 on the flight out, but there was room to spare in row 5 on the way back.

that's what i though post 1234 was highlighting - and why i've chosen bulkheads on upcoming CPT flights. Do you know if this applies to both the middle and window seats?

I was in the window, she was in the middle, so it would seem so. Either that or she imagined it (I took a photo of mine and it does seem bigger).

What’s the best WTP seat on the 3 class 777 from Gatwick - Cancun

I can’t seem to find info on my specific aircraft. Is row 10 (bulk head) any good ?
