Hi, flying to LA on a 77H (77W) in club. Just selected seat 7K but can anybody confirm whether or not this seat has a missing or misalligned window? Its the last seat in the forward mini cabin, Can also select 11K.
Thanks!

Edit: looking at the seatplan I believe it does miss a window. Changed to 11K

Hi. We are currently looking to book 2 cash J tickets for LHR->CPT return in November 2022.
Most seat maps on these routes are displaying club suites in 77L config which we'd prefer. However there are cheaper routes showing as 77J with the old 'ying-yang' config which I haven't flown.

1) I know it's impossible to say for sure, but given BA's target of upgrading all 777s by 'end 2022' to club suites - it is right to assume there's probably a decent chance this plane is changed to club suites?
2) If it stays as the old layout, which is the preferred set of seats for a couple on the 77J? I think the choices would be Rows 2, 5, 10 or 11 (obviously either window side AB/JK).

Many thanks!

2 rows of first (1/2 AEFK)
Rows 5-17 Club AEFK - BUT missing 8AEF
Rows 20-24 WT+
Rows 25 to 40 WT

Any idea what this is? Yet another config?
Try Again. It's the first one in the wiki.

On the 77H, what is the considered opinion on the better pair of seats: 5K and 6K or 9K and 10K for a flight to LAX?. (we both want window seats) Leaning towards the former, but would welcome comments on them either way.

After further research I switched back to 11K on the 77W. Row 5 is missing a window.

See
from 1 minute 40 onwards and the seatmap here: Aerolopa

Don't think it is. The missing window is on row 7. The 'missing' window on Row 5 is behind the front part of the suite and hidden by the IFE, so no use to anyone if it was there. Still have 2 windows.

77h 777-300er

I have a question about the two middle seats in the Club World section of the British Airways 777-300ER 77H configuration. If my wife and I are seated in seats 5F and 5F, is there a barrier between these two seats or are we able to comfortably converse in these seats?

Thanks

There is a raisable privacy screen, but you can have that down for the flight. Note that you may need to lean forward to talk to your wife, as the seats are a bit further back in the suites.

As well as the raiseable barrier between the seats at shoulder level, there is a barrier along the length of the seats, meaning you can't go past each other for the opposite aisle (for example to access luggage in the overhead bin by your companion. That may explain why BA is allocating couple seats across the aisle from each other, if you don't chose.

Due to aircraft change on the JNB routes I am now in Club (as opposed to F) on my upcoming flights LHR:JNB and return. I'm on a three class 777 and want a window seat with easy access rather than having to climb over anybody. 5A or K or 11A or K seem to be the best options but any info to make my mind up would be appreciated.

TIA.

Hi,

I would probably choose 5A ( 5 k closer to the toilets) as it has as better view and row 11 looks like it is ahead of the divider for WT+ and also will be over the wing so could be noisier from the enignes also

Regards
