I certainly am not trying to change this thread so my last comment on the subject. I am booked 288/289 last week of Dec 19 in F. Flight now shows 787-9 and T-5. Also booked 288/289 on the 773 (changed from 744) April '20 and now shows to/from T5. Again, thanks for the seat and IFE info on the 773.

Solo flyer, JFK - LHR BA182. Have the pick of the cabin (it's the 12F Cabin).

Best seat for me, considering I'll have a nightcap and then sleep?

Thanks!

BA109 is a three class 777-200 LHR-DXB next Easter. Any seats preferable in the forward CW cabin? Family of four, we usually get x2 pairs by the window.

Are these aircraft refurbished with larger screen?

We have BA106 on the return so hoping for new CW suites.

What is the seat map showing, the LHR based 4 class B777s with RR engines are being converted to 3 class aircraft with I believe the new CW suite?

Hoping you BA experts can help. Flying the 77x version of the 777-200 with 17 F seats from LHR to EWR next week. Wife and son are in 2F and 2K. The only other window seat available for me is 4K. Seat guru does not show this configuration. Is 4K, with no 5K seat behind it, too close to the back lavatories or galleys to cause a problem? Any other reasons not to choose this seat? Thanks.

I don’t know how quickly they’d are being converted, I think two this year so this seat map may change.

We really ought to have this in big lights across the top of the board: Ignore SeatGuru.

Im on the BA2155 LGW-BGI soon. Got seats in WT+.
Whats the likelihood of the refurbished cabin- have they all been done now at LGW?
Arent the 777-200 4 class.? Cant see F as bookable....will we all get a slim chance of being upgraded to J so that F can be filled?

Most of LGW's 777s are 3 classes. WTP to CW upgrades happen not due to F, but due to WT, so you need to look that direction instead. However it's best to assume you will fly in the cabin you paid for.

This thread - and wiki - will give you status of the 777s at LGW:

What made me think it was a 4 class frame is that WTP is only four rows from 21- 25 (and were already prebooked into 22jk and 23jk so that seems a lot of CW seats iin front?

That is indeed should be a 4 class 777, there are a few at LGW and BGI is often operated with a First Cabin tickets sold for it.

Hi, trying to weigh up pros and cons of various seats in WT for our flight from LGW to Orlando (BA2039) in April 2020 - looks like we're on the 10 across 777 with economy starting at row 20 (although the seatmap on MMB shows 3 sets of toilets across the plane behind row 31 whereas other seatmaps only show toilets behind seats d/e/f/g in this location?) I am not a good flyer, terrified in turbulence and need to be able to see sky/ground, and trying to work out which of these options might be best for our family of 4:
row 34/35 a&b in both - unobstructed view from the windows but is it likely to be very turbulent back here?
Or row 29/30 a&b in both (thinking not row 31 incase there are toilets right behind that wall as per the MMB seatmap) but guessing this will be mostly a view of the wing.
Or row 21/22 a&b which has the benefit of not being able to see rows and rows of people in front of me and is nearer for getting off at the other end but I can see that there is a window blank at about this point in the cabin and not having a window to look out of is making me anxious.
Does anyone have any recommendations or experience of being on the new layout 777 and can advise if there is or isn't a window in row 22? Thank you. (I realise plane type may change as it's a long way off but am assuming that the 10 across in WT 777s are the same inside)
