We're considering an Avios redemption LHR-BOS in F on a 14F 777 flight. OH is a very, very nervous flyer and consequently we usually book middle-pair seats in CW so I can hold her hand if it gets bumpy.
Can anyone comment on how practical it is to hold hands between middle F seats on these aircraft, and whether there's anything favouring 2E/F or 4E/F (the pairs currently available)?
ETA looks like the aircraft is a 777-300.

Hi,
I am going to fly ba2273 from LGW to JFK on the 10th of April, in WTP. I just wonder what kind of seat I will get, the oldest light blue version or possibly an updated one? The seat map shows three rows and no F on this flight as far as I know.
Thnaks for the replies in advance!

It will be old WTP. All 3 class 777's have the older WTP. Many 4 class 777-200's do, but something on the day would be really messed up for one of them to be sent to LGW to cover for that flight.

Unfortunately no, though it depends when you are travelling and the cabin concerned. At the moment the LGW aircraft are unrefurbished, with small IFE screens. It will be refurbished at some point - I haven't seen a specific date yet - and I imagine the IFE will get updated at that point, however WT will go to 10 seats across rather than the current 9. For the moment, it would be a good idea to take your own inflight entertainment, at least as a backup.

Every time I have flown F in a 777 its been scheduled as a 77F but then changes a few months before to a 77N .Flying to BOM in 1E and F . I know the cabin will be the latest F cabin but how bad is the quality of the IFE in F on a 77F compared to a 77N ?

I'm guessing no power sockets in WT & WTP?
Have you seen this BA video lol Oh no!
