I'm pretty sure that's the 77W (variant 77N in the wiki table) you're talking about, with exit row seats in 22AB and JK and crew jump seats ahead. I was referring to the 772 (variant 77F in the wiki table), which has a hard bulkhead in front of all of row 21.

Are there differences in legroom between the B/J and D/G seats?

I did see that, but it seems like the only basis for the recommendation was the fact that at some point in time, 21A was a bassinet while 21K was not. According to the BA.com seatmap I'm seeing, 21AEFK are all labeled as bassinets, so any advantages from being far away from the bassinet have been erased. As such, I was looking to see if (1) the legroom in row 21 is sufficient for someone just under 6' to fully stretch his legs, and (2) if there are differences in legroom between the AB, DEFG, and JK blocks of seats.

We have an upcoming F booking to PEK which looks like it will be a 777 300ER (?). It is mostly a night flight but we will have an hour or so of daylight on departure and a couple of hours at the other end I think. Currently in 2E/F which looks good for a couple but I like a window and have never seen any of China so thinking of going for 1K/2K - am I right in thinking there is no forward toilet so it is just the galley in front - would 2K/3K be better despite the 'kudos' of row 1? First decent F for us from LHR so looking forward to all the trimmings.

2K and 3K are fine choices on the 300 in my humble opinion but 2E/F are good as a couple. There is no forward toilet there, just the galleys and if you do a dummy booking for your date in CW and CW has rows 10-16 then it is a 777-300. There's also a galley behind F too so the middle of the cabin is ideal I'd say.

I've been on this a few times, twice in F and I'd choose those seats again before others. Enjoy!

I'm returning from London on a 777-300. My choices are: 1F, 2F, 3A, 3K, and any seat in last row.

I considered 3K but read in this forum that the A side is quieter. I also saw F in last row is a child station so if a family was there, 3A seems furthest window away from that situation.

The only possible change I'd consider was a move to 2A to get a little further from the bathroom (if 2A opened up). Is 3A far enough from the bathroom where one wouldn't really notice it? And does Club World share the bathroom near 4F (so it may get more traffic)?

Thanks!

Where have you read that the A side is quieter, take 3K?
The toilets at the rear are not shared with CW.

I read about the A side here: A New Way to Fly – BA Boeing 777-300ER in First Class – LHR-LAX... "Recommended seats – I actually recommend the seats on the “A” side. On the Boeing 777, the galley is right in front of 1F and 1K, and the F/As really congregated at that area. There is lots of traffic throughout the flight in the K side. Therefore I considered the “A” seats are quieter."

But who knows, maybe it was an isolated incident of K side being louder.

What's benefit of 3K vs. 3A? 3K seems right next to 3F which on British map shows a child changing station.

Not a child changing station but a child cot. Might like to avoid 3K as there might be an infant in 3F. Or not, as one might prefer

The infant seat is 4F but rarely ever used.
The galley is forward of row one so all seats in that row can be affected by some galley noise although this is unlikely.
I have to disagree with the poster who says that the right aisle was used/busier than the left one, the left hand side definitely has more foot traffic and I would always advice taking seats on the right rather than on the left.

Accessing row with bassinet

We are travelling with two children in various 777 configs. I believe one is the three class with 40J.

Based on previous experience I would like to access the middle pair at the rear, I think row 4 or 11. The infant seat is currently blocked. Is it possible to get this unblocked, if so does it need to be close to the flight date?

If we can’t get the rear middle seats which ones would you recommend for 4 adults and 2 children (2 years and 6 years).

Thanks

Hi all

My fiance (by the time we travel she will be my wife!) and I are travelling LGW - MRU (Mauritius) in Club World next month. On both the outbound and return we've been automatically assigned 5A & 5B on a Boeing 777S. The notoriously unreliable SeatGuru states this pair do not have a window - is this correct?

All other window pairs are taken at this stage although I'll keep checking back, but the middle seats are all free. I am aware that there is a chance of an equipment swap which would mean no row 5.

Would it be prudent for me to move us to a middle pair at this stage? The bassinet seat in Row 4 is of course blocked, but 1E and 1F are available and I could always do a swap when/if the bassinet seat is unblocked. I like a window seat but they are both night flights so not sure it is worth risking the row 5 gamble. Or on this route is a 777S pretty much standard?

Help appreciated!

Hey, family of four travelling LHR to JFK next March. Was a 747 when booked and had paid for UD seats, but now equipment change to 4 class 777.
Can anyone recommend which 4 seats we should take, don't want the centre as would prefer a couple with windows.

Are views equally as restricted from 12A/K and 14A/K offset windows?
Is toilet/footfall really that bothersome from 10B/J?

Grateful for any advice.

Are you on a 777-200 or 300? (10-15 rows on the 200 and 10-16 on the 300 which will show in MMB)
