First world problems !!!!
I'm in 29C on the 777-300ER in coach, 29A & 28B are also free.
I presume 29C is the best possible seat in terms of leg room.
And that 29A and 28B will both be a bit better than the regular seats legroom ?

I think 11A/K is the best option - ‘mini-cabin’, window, unobstructed aisle access, not close to toilets or galley, hopefully still a decent view out of the window despite relative proximity to the wing...and yet these cost the least to reserve

That's the strange way they show Flub on 777-200 services. I wouldn't assume any seat selection would stick unless the flight was very full.

Best Y seat 777-300 solo and unable to confirm selection bug
I'm due to travel on the 777-300 next week. I'll be travelling in Y since someone else is paying and they've stipulated that class. A couple of questions. I'm OWE. I'm keen to finalise my seat choice today, because tomorrow the OWRs can start selecting seats, and choices may become more limited.
1. Between bulkhead (row 28) and exit row (37), which is the preferable choice?
2. There appears to be a bug in MMB for seat selection. It says I can select my seat for free, when I log in, I'm in 28B (a bulkhead/ next to bassinet seat). But I'm unable to confirm the seat (button greyed out). I can choose other seats, including exit row without a problem. If I exit the seat selection, it has not assigned me a seat in MMB, but when I go back in, I'm still in 28B. Is this a bassinet issue bug? Am I actually in 28B, or has it randomly plopped me there, but will boot me out?
Thanks!

The fact that you can't immediately confirm 28B sounds a bit like a bug reported on other occasions which means that you can't confirm the seat you're first offered. You have to pick another seat, confirm yourself into that, and then go back into the seat map and pick the one you originally thought of and confirm that.
Have you tried doing that? If not, that might be worth trying as the next step. As you're currently unable to confirm yourself directly into 28B, there seems to be little downside to giving this a go. If it doesn't work, then it may need a phone call.

If you have no seat confirmed when you look at the MMB main page, then you are not in 28B even when you see the screen that appears to show you there. This is simply an offer of 28B, and it isn't allocated to you until you confirm it, and once you're allocated a seat it will show in the MMB main page.

I have the misfortune of travelling Y in the 10 across 777 from LGW in two weeks. I can't seem to find a suggestion for best seat in WT.
BA2271 (LGW-YYZ) daytime flight so I just want comfort and won't be sleeping (much).
Plenty available - do I go row 20 (bulkhead), both aisles in the middle available, risk the bassinet
Row 32, ABC - exit row, assume A is bad as the door is big? Having the screen in the arm rest may make a small seat even smaller?
or Row 42 JK (two seats only), but I want to be off the plane quickly to enjoy Friday evening in Toronto (HBO)?
Appreciate any thoughts or advice!

Note that on 772s reconfigured from 4 to 3 class, 4A and 4K no longer have a window. The original 3 class do have windows, but those same seats on an old 4 class now are useless if you want a view. The footrest gets a window, but the seat doesn’t. Found this out the hard way after flying TPA-LGW last month and at booking I paid to choose 4A and got a view of a wall. Nicer cleaner cabin though and less squeaks and rattles, but nothing to see. I always chose these seats because of the direct aisle access. I stole a spoon in protest.

Does anyone have experience and/or photos to share of the WTP bulkhead on the 777 with 32 W seats? I believe that would be the 77F variant according to the table in the wiki, and the seats in question are 21BDGJ (window and middle seats are currently blocked off for bassinets). Are there differences in legroom between the B/J and D/G seats?
FWIW, I'm 5'11". Leaning toward the bulkhead for the extra kneeroom and proper legrest but also wary of not being able to extend my legs all the way.
