We’ve a 77A three class 40J seat aircraft from OAK to LGW, according to BA MMB, 18 Aug 2018. (BA Source suggests it’ll be a 77A 40J, but MMB says 77A).

I know 4E&F (and 11E&F) are “honeymoon”seat pairs with aisle access immediately aft of the adjacent seats - and that as the E seat offers a baby cot that these are not available to non-baby adult passengers until close to departure.

Am I correct the other E&F pairs require climbing over recumbent passengers in the D or G seats? Is that true of 1E&F? I prefer these as I must administer medication to Lady JDiver in flight, but I can do so in the seat pairs with the privacy dividers - or from the aisle if she’s in a B or J seat.

At this time I have 4A&B booked, as AFAIK 4A can access the aisle via some space immediately aft if 4B, and I can administer care from the aisle.

I’ve not flown BA 777s, only 747 and A380, in terms of widebody aircraft.

Your advice would be appreciated. TIA!

You are correct that all the non-bassinet E/F pairs on these aircraft require you to step past / over the feet of D/G pax, including 1E/F (you need to get past 2D/G from these seats).

If you are ok with a window/aisle pair, I would definitely stick with 4A/B, you are also correct that 4A has direct aisle access via the space behind 4B.

Hi all,

I have a couple of questions about flights I have to TLV next week;

on the way out in WT, any recommendations for seats? I have 39A as its a pair with (currently) no one in 39B. 26F is an option but as its bassinet i was wary of picking that

on the way back in WT, the seat map only shows 35 rows, its down as a 777, again any seat suggestions? any idea why its only showing 35 rows?

Confused about 77S

Looks like we're on a 77S to Male. The source suggests row 24 has extra leg room but doesn't indicate that on map? We were originally assigned row 24 and are both BA gold but changed to 17A and C hoping no-one takes the middle? Can anyone please clarify row 24 and choices were limited so we thought row 17 would be ok (assuming no one takes the middle)

Thanks

Booking on 777-200 to SEA

Rows 10 and 11 are the only rows with no wing
How bad is the mis-alighned window in row 10 ?

4 class 777 - couple in J

Advice please. Choices on LHR-BOS in J for a couple. Choice of several centre pairs, or 15F&G. I realise the risk of a baby in 15E. Key question really is, what sort of dividers are there between the middle seats (F&G). How much privacy is there for the one in 15F? Thanks.

The screen pulls out around 12 inches so just stops you from having eye contact.

Apologies if this has been answered but more looking for opinions as well.

On a 3 class 777 from LGW to JFK on Friday 23/02 in Y.

I am booked into 15J which has only one seat next to it, rather than 2 and the seat map for the flight on EF is looking quite empty in Y but the seat next to me is blocked out so won't be for me.

The alternative is to move into 16C. 16B appears available at the moment so could be blocked out for me as a GCH if not taken? 16C also appears to have no seat in front of it? I recently flew on an older 747 back from Denver with no seat in front of me in an economy row and found it perfect actually (I'm 6ft 3 and generally find I leg stretching/extra legroom essential), particularly as seat next to me was blocked for me.

What would you guys do? I haven't actually flown a 3 class 777 for years

Sounds like the old configuration 40J 3 class but in a heartbeat I would nab 16C (or H) which as you say has no seat in front of it. I was in a similar seat to/from Mauritius (17H in the 48J version)

Having no seat is a great bonus and put a rucksack down with jersey/jacket in it [insert your choice here] to rest your legs and it's a great seat.

The bulkhead does not allow you to stretch out and at 6'3 that's a 110% no, no no and would make it a very uncomfortable flight for you. There is a missing window there but legroom trumps this in my book.

Thanks Peter. Top man, Ive duly heeded your advice and changed to 16C.

As you said, the bulkhead looks pretty cramped ahead from your picture. Thanks again.

And after all that, Ive just gone to check in online and been bumped to WTP!

3 rows of it, starting with 12. Lots of unblocked seats. Any recommendations?

Here's my 2c worth, 14 A or K as given your height row 12 has a bulkhead and you won't be able to fully stretch out plus there is no one behind you.

Same question here. How bad is it? (B777-300 in my case) Is it worth it?
