This thread gives the current catering options for the Concorde Rooms and Bars not at LHR. These are open for passengers flying BA on a First ticket or Concorde card holders.

The current catering options (July 2019) in the JFK CCR can be found in post 123 in the thread, or you can click here and photos are here. This menu should be the same as found at the BOS and IAD F Dining Room.

Also there is an archive of JFK CCR and BOS/IAD F Dining menus in post #14 in this thread, or you can click here. This archive covers September 2015 to date.

Ack, was just there last week and forgot about this thread.

I believe I had a scallop appetizer (which was amazing) followed by a special turkey meal as I was flying out on the Wednesday before Thanksgiving. There was a pear dessert which was excellent.

Yes! I had the poached scallops, turkey roulade, then the dessert. The turkey was dry and unmemorable but scallops & dessert were great. Maybe the other mains are better.

Thanks - was about to order the turkey but need to rethink - maybe will go for the lasagna

The beef is usually decent in the CCR ^

Unfortunately too late - ordered the lasagna which was tasteless and mediocre Shall try the beef, regardless how cooked, next time I'm in the lounge but might be a while . The soup however was delicious!

As you might have read it is a small dining space off of the main lounge and does not have views or other lounge facilities. The service has always been really good but I would get bored there after an hour whereas the JFK (or of course the LHR CCR) I could easily spend a few hours before a flight as it has proper seating areas and is a proper lounge.

At IAD there is a seating area I think maybe enough for four or five people right before the dining room (again no windows/views) with a small self service bar (unlike the manned bar in the business lounge). Really the whole concept at IAD is providing an intimate space for First class dining (last I was there some months back they even closed it for an hour or so in between the evening BA flights).

I am not knowledgeable about alcohol but my impression was there was less of a selection and perhaps not the same level of quality at IAD compared to the JFK CCR (I noticed sparkling wine at IAD vs the several champagnes in a proper bucket at JFK). Also the coffee is much better at JFK if that is important to you for comparisons sake. The quality of the food seems standardized amongst the First dining rooms in the USA and I think is quite good for airport dining.
Thank you for the level of detail. There aren't any recent reviews specifically of the CCR Dining I was able to find. Maybe I'll write one while I'm there.

I prefer a self service bar, but bummer about the Champagne selection. My girl will disagree, but my opinion on coffee is the cheaper the better. We will be at the airport all day as we fly in really early for our trip so we can work. Maybe we'll try one of the other lounges at IAD before we head over to the BA lounge since the CCR Dining doesn't open until 2:30 anyway. I read the Turkish and Virgin lounges are good ones to hangout in for some time. We'll probably finish work around 3 so that'd be a good time to head over to the BA lounge. Maybe we'll be really ambitious and hit all the PP lounges in terminal A.

Can anyone post the current offerings in the JFK Concorde lounge? Can't believe no one has been through since I posted the December menu!

From memory, and this was about 2 weeks back, for mains the offering was a beef, fish and a cheese (?) risotto. I am sure that there would have been a vegetarian option also which escapes me. For starter, there was a salad and the usual scallop dish (but thankfully the regulars are being offered double helpings of the scallops). Deserts I cannot remember, sorry!

I usually always eat in the city, and may take a starter if I have time prior to boarding. Whilst the JFK CCR food quality is better than the LHR CCR, I still much prefer to eat before getting to Kennedy.

February menu. Soup of the day has been mushroom truffle the last few times I've been through in the last two weeks.
Highly recommend the sunchoke ravioli, it's quite delicious.

eae - Thanks for posting, looks like a reasonable choice. Just hope the corona virus doesn't mess up my travel plans!
