Traveling on BA BOS-LHR-ARN and return. The reservation is booked using the AA Codeshare. Will I be eligible for an AUP or POUG because of this?

Can AUPs be done by calling the desk at the relevant airport or even LHR? I am assuming not but thought I’d check. I am attending an event and we will be bussed back to the airport in Lagos, so don’t have any control as to when I will arrive there. The flight has sold out in WT but WTP and CW don’t look too full. If I got an AUP then there is always a (very slim) chance of an op-up to CW. It’s direct return to Lagos but a TA booking, so I won’t be offered a POUG (unless I have misread something somewhere).

Sometimes when I book WTP for some reason it's an economy fair with WTP added on.
The service centers have told me a few times although it's WTP I booked, they sometimes go down as economy as the fair class.

Does this mean If I ask for a AUP I'll be paying more as the system thinks it was economy I paid for?

Does anyone have any insights for IAD-LHR? I can't find anything in the Wiki and a search of this thread has not yielded any results.

Are airport upgrades hard to come by at IAD?
I'm looking for WT-WT+ or WT-CW if the price is right.

As a data point, the flights will be booked on AA Ticket stock and with AA Flight Numbers. Is it even possible to take advantage of an AUP in this situation? I try to avoid codeshares as much as possible but this one is inevitable.

Thanks!

BA69 (LHR>PHL), CW>F £579 with only 3 currently booked into F 2hrs before the flight. I suppose it is good to see BA won't dilute the cabin with cheap AUP's on flight day.

Has anyone asked or been given a AUP price for LHR - JFK WTP > CW most recently? Interested to know as I can't get a POUG.

£649 is the most likely price.

Im booked on BA34 at 00:05 on the 6th March. ExpertFlyer has just informed me that a seat has become available in F. If I can, I'd like to snare that as an AUP.

I am flying PEN-KUK-SIN on Sunday, then flying SIN-KUL before getting this flight. The flight arrives in KUL at 22:20. Here are are few questions/scenario's.

I arrive in KUL for the first time at 11:40 on the 5th, will there be any members of BA staff around who could look at processing the AUP for me?

I will arrive in SIN at 14:15 on the 5th and am there until 21:20. Will there be any BA staff there who can help with AUP for KUL or does it have to be done at KUL? (My ticket starts from SIN)

Is there a likelyhood that the 1 seat in Front has already been pre-allocated to someone for an op-up?
