POUGs are offered via BA.com and the App Manage My Booking via a distinctive banner (example from MMB below). You cannot get a POUG by telephoning, however the service centres can complete a POUG which falls over mid transaction. They are offered on cash and Avios redemptions but typically not on complex routings, BA Holidays or travel agency bookings until OLCI stage. POUGs on Avios redemptions won't get you additional TPs/Avios, but they will on revenue tickets.
Short haul routes from LON to/from Europe
A price in pounds indicates a ticket issued from London, other currencies indicate prices for tickets issued overseas (e.g. singles or returns originating from CDG priced in Euros). Multiple prices indicate a range of fares are on offer. Note that LCY prices currently seem to be on a different basis to LGW and LHR (cheaper, in other words).

I've been getting a good price on an AMS to LHR flight but each time I go through this comes up yet the price does not increase. I've rinsed and repeated a few times but it just won't let me upgrade. If I call should I get it at that price? Or is it gone?

Where BA substitutes a 787-9 for a 787-8, as they frequently do on BA103 to Calgary, are the additional premium seats offered via POUG? I have a BA Holidsys booking next week and might be tempted by a WT+ to CW upgrade if it is offered at check in.

I booked WT MAN-LHR-BOS x 2 for March 19 in the world cup sale. Good price. i've had POUG to WT+ on the booking since 48hrs after the booking, I've watched it with interest. Its now gone up yesterday by £15 each on the outbound LHR-BOS to £285 each! and stayed the same £255 ret BOS-LHR. its actually £180 cheaper to book the whole trip from scratch in WT+ today. Cunning buggers BA!

LHR to YVR: upgrade offered from WT+ to CW for £441 per person (3 pax). Flight is a daytime one on 20th August so it isn't appealing.
Nothing offered on the return flight (overnight) yet and the normal paid upgrades on that flight are showing as £3,333 per person!

Return flight booked in HBO - DUB-LCY and back LHR-DUB.
POUG for DUB-LCY is €89 and for the return it is €99.
That's off a HBO fare though, so it may be less off normal fares.

I am not sure there is any limit - apart from you won't be offered one any earlier than 48 hours after making the booking. I have been offered POUGs months before the flight date.
