VIE-LHR €129 per person offered on a cheap HBO one-way ticket (£80 or so pp) to CE for 19 April 2018. This appeared in MMB, then vanished for a few days and reappeared two days before departure. Accepted for all three of us travelling as this was a connection back to London following a return from Taipei on China Airlines (which really isn't too bad in business class). Wiki updated.
In the end, was glad I did (despite having bagged exit row seats for all of us in ET). Plane from TPE very late thanks to ATC IT problems on departure from Taiwan. We arrived into Vienna at 0700 with the BA flight to LHR scheduled for 0745. Fortunately, the flight from TPE arrived into the D gate area and incoming passengers are not separated from outbound pax so we were able to stroll across the gate area from D24 to D21. I've never done a connection in 15 minutes before... The Castlenau was quite welcome alongside breakfast!

IAH - LHR: upgrade to WTP offered for $185 (from O class WT fare)
LHR - IAH: $205 for the same
Overall upgrade cost ($390) is greater than the ticket price I paid for this trip ($385); no upgrades offered for the second set of legs to/from Scotland.
Does anyone know the pace at which BA is upgrading 777-200 with new seats? These flights only have four rows of WTP and, based on BA Source, its almost always this older configuration of 772 thats flying IAH-LHR.
Still debating whether to take the upgrade but, even with old WTP product, seems worth it.

WT > WTP upgrade offered for £279 on PHL - LHR to the OH.
Usually would say no, but currently debating it given WTP has only 1 free seat left as per EF, and Business is quiet. With W9 seats still available for sale I think they are trying to get people to upgrade from WT and will roll people forward which may make a bump to CW more likely.

Just offered WT -> WTP on LHR-IAD on an Avios booking (last minute/somewhat emergency booking, otherwise wouldn't book TATL reward in Y) for $171. Took it, no question.

It does seem that we always get the older cabins now, almost religiously, although we have traditionally been very fortunate.

What happens if I pay to reserve seats in ET and then get a POUG for CE? Do I get the seat reservation cost refunded?

You can pay the difference for seat seletion in CE or select from the free options available at T-24h (T-7 days if Bronze, anytime if Silver/Gold)
The specific BA wording is that you can claim a refund if:
you have paid for an upgrade and do not wish to pay the difference in order to reselect your seat in the alternative cabin

Does anyone have a definitive answer as to whether POUGs are offered for BA Holiday bookings?
I've read some reports saying that POUGs for BA Holidays flights can show up at T-24 (at OLCI) and others that say POUGs are never offered on BA Holidays flights.
I'm really hoping for a POUG offer on my upcoming LHR-TFS flight; CE looks to have a lot of availability and ET is basically fully booked. However, from the Wiki, it doesn't seem like this is a common route for POUG availability. I tried calling BA Holidays but they quoted some utterly crazy amount to upgrade.

Just looked on my credit card statement, and indeed the email receipt, and was charged $51 instead. Assume it won't be reversed as that's what the receipt says. There was a bizarre error when paying for it online, but it seemed to go through and I was able to select seats in WTP so thought nothing of it at the time. Hoping for another POUG on the way back to London.
