You would go and steal post #2 within a minute before i could snaffle it as reserved! (Mods will change them about, please?)

I'm not sure there will be an EDI Do this year as I am away the whole of May! and maybe there will be a NCL one.................

While I highly appreciate being called a 'host' for TLL, I think this is misleading and wrong.

I've been giving some advice since I know TLL fairly well, but have myself not booked the TP run for the Do (yet), and therefore I think I'd rather not be called 'host'. I hope this is ok!

No problem, I genuinely thought you were, well, more of an 'advisor'. I've amended the Wiki.

I'm not sure it fits in with the current timelines for other potential DOs the second half of this year but there was an update on the developments of the 'Aerospace Bristol' industrial heritage museum and learning centre on the news tonight (BBC Points West) about getting Concorde ready to move into its new home indoors...

In any case, the website is currently showing it is due to open 'Summer 2017'...with this stunning marketing photo:

SO...sounds like a good excuse to host another Bristol FT DO timed accordingly to visit the new museum just after it opens methinks!

I'd be interested in co-hosting a DO here if any others are up for sharing the task and interested in co-organising a visit to this new museum once it opens...

Even if the DO doesn't happen, please do consider becoming a member or donating / visiting at some stage.

Website for the museum here:

http://www.aerospacebristol.org

Any takers to co-host?

Bristol DO sounds fun!

there will be the usual London DO (or usually at least two) but too early to start thinking about those.

Sounds like a very good idea BotB. I can offer to help organise, although I don't know Bath at all in case you need someone with local knowledge.

^ excellent, thanks, would be greatly appreciated. Let's DO this...

As I'm local no issues with having both of us local...just would like some help with the organisational and hosting on the day type help!

Thanks again, I'll send you a PM this weekend and we can start to look at it...should be a great day out at the museum and of course we can look at adding an evening meal/drinks to this as well.

Cheers!
