I'll be in London but with a quick day trip to Marseille beforehand. Will be in the CX T3 lounge in the morning if anyone cares to say hello.

A great experience if you haven't done it before. Just watch out for the nutters with fireworks

Out in Sydney too (albeit less salubrious than a boat). Avios booking in CW except for SYD-SIN which is in F because that's all that the other GGLs hadn't snapped up when I booked a few months ago.

Enjoy wherever you are.

NYE in Wailea, Maui. Will probably watch the fireworks that the hotels put on. Might go to the NYE party as we seem to have been given two free invites today

I'm in Philly. Got a good deal in F with BA Holidays. Back to Blighty on New Year's Day. Just as well...the food is so good here that I'll be the size of a house if I stay here too much longer.

Nice!

I wonder if they celebrate anything in August?

There is always something going on in Maui - the big event in August appears to be the Maui photo festival.

For me the new year will fall at a departure gate in Melbourne about to board my flight to Hong Kong.

At at least I can then celebrate the new year with my wife who is in the UK while I am in Hong Kong before getting my CX flight to L HR

Nope. Relaxed, but I expect tomorrow night will be a bit more lively! No special fare on the way here though; booked it so late I flew economy in an H fare bucket out of DUB (~Ł900 return via LHR and the US east coast). More than paying for itself now though
