Smile Festive fun: BA Films and TV shows

Last night we were watching the film Coming to America on UK TV which starred BA Concorde (probably just some promotional footage). It made me wonder what other films or even TV shows BA have ever featured deliberate or not and regardless of time length.

I seem to remember an only fools and horses Christmas special featured that pesky Virgin airline....

Cant think of any with BA at mo (I am getting old)- but Im sure theres been plenty as i also remember those old BA logo bags being on TV a lot - when the red speedwing was straight and not curvy.

Anyway Merry Christmas!

An episode of Absolutely Fabulous where Eddie and Patsy both go to NYC for the day to buy a door handle! Again features Concorde.

Also Three Men and a Baby where a BA 747 is featured at the airport.

BA aircraft feature in (at least) two James Bond movies :

- in Die Another Day Bond, played by Pierce Brosnan, is seen in the F cabin of a 747, with CC actresses kitted out in official BA uniform of the day

- in Goldeneye, Bond flies by BA to St Petersburg

The Disney spin off from Cars, called Planes had a BA A380 as I recall getting a autograph from Dusty Crophopper. I had to sit an watch this movie in Turkish which managed to make the experience even more painful that normal.

Top trivia: actress playing the CC in Die Another Day is Roger Moore's daughter, Deborah.

BA also feature in some not so subtle product placement in Moonraker when a baddie crashes into an advertising hoarding.

Bond actually flies Concorde (naturally) to Rio but on AF!
