Your flight could be operated by either configuration and I wouldn’t be surprised to see it changed a few times before you travel.
Service wise there will be no difference.

From a CC perspective, serving must be different in the new Y? On 3-3-3, How did service to the middle seat work? were they always served from the left or the right? or alternate rows?
I presume now D and E from the left and F and G from the right? Are there more crew in this cabin now?

Hi, after some guidance.
Flying WTP, LGW to CANCUN on 18/07 - If I look at seat options from manage my booking it shows 3 rows of 8, (Old WTP). However looking at this wiki and comparing with Plane finder (Which shows all updated aircraft for past 3 weeks).
Am I best to assume old cabin WTP? If so how old and bad is it likely to be :0(

CAN was on the list of the 1st tranche of destinations to get the new config BUT it's not unusual for them to switch around quite a bit tbh. Would just suggest keeping an eye on it but don't panic too much if you see it change around a couple times. 3-4 days out you should see the actual plane and be reasonably confident that whatever you're looking at then is going to be your bird for the day ( normal caveats of going tech etc etc apply )
I know it's not especially helpful for planning purposes but it is what it is. The WTP cabin on the 10 abreast WT fleet has grown substantially to 54 so it's a little less intimate than it used to be but the seat is pretty nice. I spent a couple hours in a spare one on my way to PUJ last year just to try it out as they were fairly new then. I haven't enough experience to compare the new and old product but the IFE on the new config was pretty decent and definately better than previous iterations across all cabins.

Anyone know when the aircraft that typically serve LGW - Mauritius MRU will be completed? When we booked everything pointed to June - August this year hence why we've booked to go at the end of Sept, but now into seems to have changed. I'm tired of outdated WT+ and bad IFE from LGW and we thought we were getting the newer / latest WT+ hard product? Anyone know?

Thoughts on renaming this thread B777 Refurbishments 2018-present or something similar to reflect the inclusion of 77Ws and the branching out into all cabins?
