They are rolling out and some 777 are and some are not (for now).. I appreciate its a peice of string type of answer but it depends on (a) when you are looking to go and (b) potential frame changes so just keep checking and take nothing for granted until the fat lady sings..

That sort of thing was never particularly reliable if you were going to try to use it as a basis for choosing to fly on a particular configuration. There is no substitute for doing the hard work of looking at the planned seat map for each individual flight, and at the same time understanding the risks that these can change without any warning at all.

10 abreast 4 class LGW flights are now loaded up into BA.com. E.g. BA2233 LGW>BDA 10/05/19. One additional row of 4 middle seats (row 40) but the remainder of the plane looks very similar to the current 14F/48J/40W arrangement.

Interesting! No reduction in J and corresponding increase in W. I wonder if we will see the same configuration operating out of LHR.

i think I recall reading LHR will happen but LGW is the agenda for now. This also needs to work in with a new CW seat launching next year so lots to juggle with future refits.

They have been, in that both have new seats and the new IFE. The CW seat is identical to the previous one other than the IFE, but it would have either had a brand new seat installed or a fully refurbished and refitted recycled seat in place. WTP is a new seat. I know you asked elsewhere about whether these are snaller seats, and you will have seen the links in that other thread to positive and negative views about WTP in this aircraft sub-set. I haven't seen WTP so I hesitated to reply there, but measuring the area concerned from the window alignment and working back from the number of rows, at least on paper the seats are not smaller either width or lengthwise. But it would be good to hear from an established WTP user about this. There are photos in the link upthread.

Does anyone know if there will be any changes / improvements to First? I’m flying with my wife to UVF in November for her first First and my second First.

I don’t believe there were or are any changes to F at LGW.

Any news on when the Rolls Royce (YMM) birds will be refurbished? I have a vested interest in the form of a MRU booking.

With G-VIIT returning to LGW this evening from refitting in SIN, I have added a wiki and put what I understand the current status. It would be good if a LGW specialist could double check this for me.

A number of LGW aircraft now have wifi, the list is maintained in the main wifi thread in the Dashboard.

@cws I'll ask Mrs Clam to have a word with the station manager and ask about it today and report back.

Regarding F some LGW birds are losing their F during refurb but specifics isn't something im placed to comment on accurately enough. I know our recent flight LGW-PUJ-LGW was 3 classed after refurb when it was initially a 4 class but on that route it made perfect sense tbh.

J / CW has been slightly changed it was 12/F/48or40J/12or18PE/?ET and on 3 class is now 32J/52PE/ Whatever the number is for ET. Apologies for prev config nums I have both ringing as true in my head after a harsh night of being at work and posting this at 05:00 but i know the new 3 class LGW nums are right.( please let them be right! lmao)

G-VIIU has just left LGW on the way to SIN as the next 777 to be refurbed.
