Is the F Galley Equipped With a Martini Shaker?

Nothing I'd like more than a vodka martini, with olives, slightly dirty, startlingly chilled. This would keep me content and quiet for at least an hour.

In brief: no. Not only would you also have to bring your own olives but possibly also some martini as I am not sure BA still has that onboard. So maybe if you bring all this along, have a minute or two in the Galley or the washroom then you may be able to enpoy the drink of your choice

No chance of this on the luxury BA F experience - but if you fly Singapore Airlines you can have your choice of cocktails which does include a Dry Martini served with olive etc

I wish BA did some cocktails on board, I mean proper cocktails, like Marius and Boris can do in CCR, but we can always dream about it whilst sleeping under luxurious duvets in your personal suites, oh wait...

Also available on QR J - I enjoyed a few of them on a OSL-DOH last year.

Really - have I been missing out? Need to look more closely this Friday then!

Now on EK there's a lovely long list of cocktails, which are excellent (though again, the crew didn't seem to have made them very often - they kept asking me if they were made right, and if they were nice - which they were).

On BA, I asked for a Kir the other day. I was met with a stunned silence - not even a "you mean Kir Royale". So I then explained that it was like a Kir Royale, but with normal white wine, and they did it for me. I was debating with myself whether to try asking them for any other cocktails that I know they'd have the ingredients for, but decided not to complicate matters...

There's no such thing as a Martini Shaker. You're probably thinking of a cocktail shaker. You don't really need to shake a martini anyways - it's mostly spirit so better stirred, despite what James Bond says.

Your bigger problem is the fact that BA doesn't carry either dry or sweet vermouth.

Anyone know a carrier who carries (whoops) sweet vermouth? Thinking Negroni.

EK offers a sweet manhattan in J and, I think, a negroni.

Alas, made with Martini Rosso as opposed to Carpano Antica Formula...

Or Campari. I've taken to bringing my own supplies of Campari and Vermouth on board so I can enjoy a Negroni on BA. Some confused looks from the crew but they are generally supportive!

Carpano Antica is my go-to for Manhattans and Negronis as well, but alas, they don't make miniatures. I don't trust any airline to refrigerate an opened bottle of vermouth. The half bottles might be perfect though!

Perhaps an opening for a take away service!
