I think it's just bad translation. I'm guessing Eucalyptus might smell like glue or gum. There has been a campaign by UK A&E doctors to make people aware of the fact that Olbas can be quite dangerous. You wouldn't believe the number of babies and toddlers that actually swallow the stuff because parents don't know how to administer it safely.

Maybe so, but corrupted bleed air looks pretty plausible as I understand it. Probably more likely than Olbas oil ;-)
