Which is better? [BA commercial, BA vs AA in business]
I haven’t seen this discussed here, but it is just me or is this new commercial rather awkward?
Not saying the two kids does not do a good job, but more on the “comparison” setup of the commercial.
Also: Not sure I would say it’s a “Luxury Washbag”….

I see everyone is feeling a bit "glass half empty" this morning?
I was prepared to be confused and cross because I thought at first that it actually was a competitive comparison commercial. But it isn't - it's making the point that they're both the same standard of sunlit-upland luxury (although the FT cognoscenti will notice that the BA claims are suitably blurred to compensate for the random variety of aircraft and IFE systems BA uses).
And the boys are meant to be customers, in an ad aimed at the UK, so it makes sense for them both to be English, no?
So if I didn't know better, I'd be thinking "great, I can use both AA and BA and they're both excellent". As it is, me, Uncle T and almost everyone else will be on the AA 777-300 and A330 unless circumstances conspire against us

It's as if we should be proud of what we offer, I feel ashamed and want us to be a great airline once again, sadly that will not happen in my time.
I won't give up smiling and doing my best and then getting off the aircraft knowing that I did all that I could to make our customers happy.
