Exactly. You couldn't make it up if you tried!

Head of brand and insights - you really cannot make it up! :)

Wasn't she "Head of Customer" [sic] at some point? I'm sure I see her face every time I submit a Well Done, in the spot where FvdP used to smile at us.

The way BA is going, the "[sic]" may not be required. :)

Sorry if this has been mentioned before. Leaving status to the side, am I correct in saying that a fully flexible ticket holder in Domestic will not receive anything complimentary? - even Fly Maybe provide vouchers in this situation....

Nothing.

And also from 2012:

"Those ads have reminded a lot of people of what British Airways stands for. Now we want them to take another look at our shorthaul network with all the service they’d expect, at prices they may not."

Following that link came to this article: http://www.ieseinsight.com/doc.aspx?id=1326&ar=&idi=2

To be fair, he was probably correct, but probably didn't expect to be driving it.

Vueling CEO Alex Cruz... believes that flag carriers will operate only business-class and long-haul flights in the future, leaving the remaining routes to low-cost carriers.

"For airports, this will translate into growth, higher discretionary income and greater ability to attract investors," he said.

"Low-cost operators will gain in terms of increased sophistication, product development and access to higher fares."

The implication of that statement is that if they did operate any shorthaul routes they would be business class only. I think the fears of BA's shorthaul operations becoming a 'BAueling' are well founded. :(
