24hr phoneline?

Hi
I'm trying to change a UK domestic flight due to depart 07:05. The normal line doesnt reopen until 6am. Any ideas? ba.com isnt allowing me to try and make a change and says contact my travel centre...

Sound advice.

But, still, it's a bit of a joke that the world's favourite airline can't make phone agents available 24/7 in its home country. Heck, even FI can do it in a country with a population small enough that their national football team coach has a day-job as a dentist...

I just got through to Lufthansa on their regular UK number which is 24 hours. Waiting time was 10 seconds.

The problem here is the BA mentality. I don't think they're driven by a passion to serve the customer and provide an excellent product. They may say it in their marketing, they may stitch it onto uniforms - they just don't actually mean it. The overriding driver here is profit, not being best in the marketplace. You can do both and still be hugely profitable. In fact, a lot of experts believe the companies that treat their customers better are more profitable. Before anything gets better at BA the corporate mentality will have to change.

Thanks all, luckily ba.com got its act together about 2am and let me make the change via the app.

As others have said, I'm pretty surprised customer service 'closes'...

Even if it isn't going to be open 24/7, it really should open before 6 considering how early some BA flights depart.

The GGL number automatically diverts you to an open office, which is handy.

I made a booking at midnight using the BAEC Gold number... Is the OP referring the “nornal” number as Blue number?

Correct.

Calls moving to India for the overnight shift - I've had confirmed by three separate GGL agents over the past week.
