4. A Member who has two valid vouchers on their account has the option to redeem both of them on one flight, but must do so across two bookings. The Avios flight price must be paid for the Member and an additional individual in order that the 2 Companions can travel on that booking. If booking for the Member and an additional 2 companions (grand total of 3 passengers) then the booking will need to be processed through the contact centre.
What I actually read is that in this particular case, 2 persons will pay avios plus taxes and 2 will pay just the taxes.

This comes handy when the owner has a family of four since without this rule, he would be able to use only one voucher as all the vouchers must be used when the owner is travelling and can't be used by a third person (even a family member)
