cappuccino in first good or bad?

I have my first first later this month. Noticed BA offers cappuccino on breakfast portion of flight. I love cappuccino just have visions of instant coffee cappuccino. Anyone tried cappuccino for breakfast on BA?

You can ask for it at any time, not just during the breakfast service. It is (or was) Nespresso, although don't be surprised if the machine is not working.

Although some people like the Nespresso-based coffee, I'd say it's OK - nothing particular special.

Better than the crap served elsewhere on the plane but nowt special. Always travel with my own mug filled with better coffee. Helps to take the edge off the blue label

Thanks for information. The first time I ever drank coffee was in my twenties when I lived in Italy so I'm fussy about cappuccino. I would rather pass on it if it is just okay.

How do you get that through security? 5x100ml capsules?

You would be very disappointed, even if the machine is working.

Coffee snobs would be disappointed with most (all?) coffee served on board an aircraft

The foam never seems to be right when getting a cappuccino in F. I just stick to espresso. Can't beat waking up from an overnighter in F and sipping on a nice espresso, while taking in the view...little things eh!

This is what I thought but thought I would ask just in case I was wrong. Water it is unless I drink the water dry.

I became a coffee snob living in Italy for 2 years. I thought cappuccino would be hard to make in an airplane.

Having grown up in Italy, 99% of coffee on board goes from very bad to meh
(the remaining 1% is for the F (N)espresso I still have to try )

I gave up with air coffee few years ago and now I use only tea as hot drink. CCR cappuccino was passable, though.
