Got plenty of time so could wander back to try and find it

Added: lounge filling up a lot now.
A true FT'er does not simply follow everyone else

Anyway, enjoy your flight

Corridor so no choice really

Would have shoved them out of the declaring how important I am as A GGL, but don't think they're even flying the same airline.....then again, perhaps they need to be made aware regardless!

To make things worse, my flight is now delayed by 30 mins due to a late incoming aircraft.

I had a look just now and unless it's near gate 5 and the stairs / toilets, all that's the other way is the duty free shop, WHSmiths and a corridor leading into a bar across from the lounge.

So when you get to the top of the escalator/stairs after security you will see there is now an extension of the Saltaire bar. If you go in there you can now cut though and miss out the duty free shop completely emerging more or less opposite the lounge.

I guess this is not an intended path to the gate area though so hopefully hundreds of passengers won't start taking it.

I've been through the entire bar and can't see anything that might be an entrance.

Seems to be glass walls only at the stairs side unless I'm missing something.

Well unless it has changed since I was last there two weeks ago it was possible. I will check again when I am there next Saturday.

Yes, why aren't you coming to the Leeds Do? Don't tell me you have something better to do with yourself that weekend

EDIT: there have been a lot of changes at LBA since you were last up this way

Is this entrance prior to the bureau de change place?

Priority boarding was good. Long queue that just moved forward with no apparent calls.

Yes, that's the new extension.

So I have noticed LBA do priority boarding a bit different in that they usually announce boarding to the lounge first and give the folks in there a few minutes to scuttle to the gate, then announce it to the rest of the departures area.

Getting to B by public transport is by bus only. There is a direct and frequent bus to Leeds city centre and to Bradford. Some information here http://www.flyingtigerbus.co.uk/

Other than that you can use the official airport taxi firm Arrow, there is a booking kiosk opposite the entrance to the airport - I have not found them cheap though. Or uber should be fine as well and I have used them.
