Interesting theory on simple flying
"The one seat that offers all of this is the Stelia Solstys III seat by Stelia Aerospace. The seat is currently used by Singapore Airlines on their 787-10 aircraft, and Turkish Airlines will be installing it on their 787’s."

Anyone wanting to compare versions of Super Diamond, Cirrus and Vantage (etc), this is a good place to go. The Stelia photo isn't very good, it's not that robotic in real life.

I don't think anyone should spend too long on this, in a BA context however.

All very good points, and well made.
However, was the new BA CW ever going to be industry leading? Based on the current management, mediocrity is the ambition (whether that is right or wrong).
Based on the confirmation of Super Diamond, I am happy since it would (eventually) give me greater schedule flexibility crossing the Atlantic on day flights rather than being "forced" to use AA.

All things being equal, I agree this isn't a bad choice for BA and I might well consider moving a couple of TATL flights back to BA if they are A350 routes having studiously avoided them on TATL flights for the last couple of years. The other issue with the choice of Super Diamond is the number of other airlines currently opting for this seat, which means that I would imagine the roll-out will be even slower than BA has been hinting as there are just too many airlines trying to fit the seat at the moment for their capacity to make them.

It depends how closely BA decide to put them together, but assuming they go for similar density to QR with the same seat on the A350, BA F on the 789 will remain a bit more spacious, certainly enough to be noticeable if you're above average height when trying to sleep and also noticeable, but slightly less so, when awake. Then AY, for example, have decided to squeeze a few extra seats into their Cirrus configuration on the A350 vs. others, which eats into the available space quite a bit, so hopefully BA don't do that.
