That moment when you're told by your client which BA flights you're due to fly, only to be told the price has doubled overnight & the BA flights have now become AI; that. Argh! /end rant/

Beyond, frustrated. Upside? First time on AI. Trip report for J?

Been in a similar situation. Last year for my redeployment. Count on BA (or OW at a push) as I have to lug extra luggage (Gluten Free food) so plenty of baggage allowance on BA in Y. My company are usually accomodating but the price jumped quite significantly from me asking to them checking to them actually going to book (overnight). They couldn't justify the cost and ended up on EK for the first time ever.

Got to say, I was sweating bricks at the thought of excess baggage but got around that with a status match (extra 12kg) and then a very good price to upgrade my ticket to J (another 10kg).

If only EK were in OW........

I feel your pain.

Safe & Happy Travels

Hah indeed. I hope it's better than their online 'Manage my booking' offering. Trying to remain open minded; 7 across has to be okay compared to 8, right?

Sounds like you need to quote an all-inclusive fee and not a fee + flights!

It's much better than it used to be! Particularly if you're on their 787.
