Missing Avios/TPs BA flight booked under IB code
Just rang BA to sort out some missing Avios/TPs from a IAD-LHR flight. It was booked via AA but under an IB flight number operated by BA.
The agent on the phone said they'd submit the request (couldn't do it online), and I've just had the email saying they've submitted my partner request to Iberia.
Is this normal or will Iberia get them to GFO leading me around in circles?

If you booked under the IB code then yes BA need to check with IB as IB are the awarding airline. This is entirely normal. Last time I did an IB coded TATL claim I think it only took 3 days to come back and correctly post.
