TATL bonus miles- registration before travel required

This came across the transom today, mirrors an AA offer that has been in effect for a couple of weeks. Good for travel through 31 July, registration before travel required.

Great - this is way more useful to me than the 'double Avios on 2 round trips' offer currently available.

Maybe this is why you (and I) are not eligible:

1. To be eligible for this promotion British Airways Executive Club Members at least 18 years of age who are locally enrolled and residing in the United States or Canada must (i) register for the promotion between May 20, 2016 and July 31, 2016 inclusive, at ba.com (http://www.ba.com)

-snip-

3.This Executive Club bonus Avios offer is valid on qualifying British Airways, American Airlines, Finnair, Iberia and OpenSkies marketed and operated non-stop flights to the UK or Europe. Members may earn the bonus Avios through one frequent flyer programme only, and must purchase and fly on a transatlantic ticket for travel beginning and ending in the United States or Canada for flights in the following booking classes:

Sorry US and Canada residents only

I don't recall the AA version having this restriction.

Indeed Virazuno, it seems that we've missed out again.

Please BA, remember that some of us live on mainland Europe!

BA do have an offer for UK/IE registered members...but requires 2x long haul returns before 31st July. I won't manage that, but I'm sure there are plenty on here that will

Registered in Slovakia. I don't have a cat in hell's chance of getting any BA offers here.

Worked for me to register, so I hopefully will see some extra Avios for my original Club booking (upgraded to First using GUF1 and Joker) :-)

hm thats a little frustrating as i am US registered yet my two future F flights are LHR-SFO-LHR because of the way i had to nest flights. so even though i'm booking for back and forth seems i will not get these based on the itins not originating in the US

Exclamation

That offer is targeted. If BAEC didn't send you email about it, you're not eligible.
