I use myflights app to get notifications, as soon as I get them, I'll re-add BAEC number. Always get a printed boarding pass and make sure your BAEC number is printed on it - that still doesn't guarantee TPs and avios to be collected automatically. 5 out of 10 times I need to claim them back (quickest done via twitter with photo of the boarding pass included).

It's ridiculous that something that is pat of the same airline group should cause such issues. Especially when you ring them up and they both blame each other.

No point calling them or contacting via twitter - just re-add your BA EC number. It's annoying but don't think IB or BA will do anything to have it fixed.
