Question What is in a Gold welcome pack these days?

For the third year running, I did not receive my annual welcome pack. My Executive Club shows as dispatched, but nothing. I requested a replacement card and as in the previous years it showed up within the week. I don't have problems with postal theft so I can only assume it is yet another BA IT/James Hillier cockup. Anybody else suffer from this?

I am curious, what is in the welcome pack these days? Last time I got one was 2013 and I recall bag tags and a Golden Ticket, is it still the same?

Welcome to FT!

When I got mine in Feb/Mar it contained a membership card and a couple of bag tags. There was no Golden Ticket (not sure if this will arrive separately).

Welcome to Flyertalk chickenlegs, welcome to the BA forum. It's good to see you here and I am sure your missives here will reach their target audience everytime!

And in a way I think that's the way it's going in the medium term: moving to e-cards on the apps. Doesn't help with luggage tags but I was emailed by hotel chain IHG the other week who offered me the choice of not sending the card out if I was ok with online recognition.

I believe the Golden Tickets are now only done online.

Welcome to FT! Not to sound discouraging, but there's no reason to get excited about two luggage tags which are naff and a card you'll never need to remove from your wallet!
