Yes she is a Labour Party MP (note spelling as Labour as that is the name of the party not a description where you can americanize the spelling!)

She is also a member of the Shadow Cabinet in a minor role

Obviously I'd never heard of her either so thanks for explaining.

Seems to me she lost it rather than discarded it. First time I've ever heard or been to that site....I didn't bookmark it.

I know it looks a bit raggedy but Guido Fawkes is one of the best-connected right wing blogs in UK politics. A scary place for people like Diane...!
