New lounge in MCO for BA
Hi all
Just checked in for our flight back to LGW and most surprised to be told there was a new lounge near the gate 90 pier. The club MCO.
Sitting there now it is far better than the delta crown room. Not much of a view but several different seating areas with a good choice of seating and lots of power points.
There are 2 self serve bar areas for soft drinks plus a full served bar area and a good self serve food area. They are offering 2 soups, salads, cheese, filled rolls and fruit, oh and jelly beans! This is a vast improvement on the Bombay mix in the delta lounge!
I haven't seen this posted anywhere and there is nothing on BA.com about it, anyone know just how new this is?

Can you grab some photos? Having flown this route last year and visited the Delta lounge I was pleasantly surprised with what was on offer. Indeed, when talking to my daughter today about our trip next week (not to MCO!) and that we will have access to different lounges to her mother, she asked if there would be popcorn!
EDIT: From reading your desciption it does sound like the delta lounge that we visited which is referred to as the Delta Club Lounge. Certainly was not called the crown lounge when we visited.

Just hunting around and came across this link from the official MCO airport site.
http://www.theclubairportlounges.com/club-MCO.html
So looks like it may be a new lounge, although BA.com is not giving it as such on their lounge guide.
Also, found this.
