Premium entrance [at LHR T5A south, for F/OWE]

A new customer entrance to the Premium Lounges at the southern end of the Terminal is going to be constructed, work starting in April.
That's all I know.

I only asked about this yesterday on the GF refurb thread. Seemed like it had died a death but glad to hear something may be happening!

This is good news. I am trying to get my head round the geography around this. Will it go around the back of the first checkin or some new entrance at first checkin? Then entering somewhere near computer Area of GF?

I don't follow, why a new entrance? Does this mean that we won't have to traipse up and down the stairs to the lounge?
