GF getting steamy again

Anyone else noticed how Galleries First is back in the owen?
So warm here as soon as temperatures rise outside. Was hoping they had fixed the ventilation but not so it seems

It's why I prefer the terrace area even if the seating is awful, if nothing else other than the impression there's more air.

It's always too hot, most of the time I'm in there I make a point by walking around fanning my face with my hand to try and make the staff notice and realise people are too hot.

Why this is so difficult for them to get right I've no idea. But then again GF annoys me in general... I almost prefer GC as it's cooler and less crowded - and if you go to GC north you don't get this utterly ridiculous business coming out of priority security and going on a wild goose chase to get to the lounge - but the temptation of sausages is too much to resist so I usually end up in GF anyway.

Why go to all this trouble rather than walking up to someone and saying "can you do something about the temperature - it's very hot".

Judging from the title, it's not the temperature, but the humidity, that is the complaint.

(Must be a steam owen!! )

Me too ... and I will tend towards passive agressiveness like the next best British person ... but even this seems ridiculous to me.

I think the amount of tinned spinach required to open a window at T5 would put IAGs finances in dire straits if GF was to offer it.

I've asked that, when it is too hot upstairs on a 747.
