New check in system

E mail today re our BLR - LHR tomorrow that various routes are introducing a new check in system, no details. Does anyone know what the changes might mean in practice, and in particular might it affect kerbside check in at BLR. Rather counting on that to reduce the time, as it is already a 7 am departure (was 8.00).

I am on this flight tomorrow as well

Given the high loads and the high level of baggage and connections to the U.S. I am expecting it to be delayed

From a customer perspective it shouldn't affect the process too much. If departing from stations recently migrated I would advise building in an extra buffer zone whilst the inevitable wrinkles are ironed out. Whilst I can't see it affecting the kerbside check-in product, it may just take a little longer on a temporary basis.
