Doesn't really show that much but glad that it looks like there will be new chairs!

Why using the present tense? They make it sound like the revamp is complete!

who's there now?

we need details!

but really--it is a good lounge but was woefully in need of new furniture and carpets. the bones are good enough.

There are photos from CWS here:

I spotted the changes around December last year ... interesting they've only just press released it now ... maybe they've finished all they are going to do.

The lounge seats were all replaced at the end of last year, and the Champagne bar seating was all renewed too.

No mention of made to order food...

Is there a 'deliberate' omission of the fact you can order meals from the Flounge menu? I'm suspicious it would have been mentioned in such a hyped up piece of marketing spiel unless they really are fully 'enhancing' it away

As I linked to in my post - it was there when I went through on December 6th.

in december there were SOME new pieces of furniture but definitely not all of it. and the carpet was unchanged.

since then i have only been through T3 lounges and unable to enter the UK for a month so am curious if things are indeed different over in T5!

It is (for Galleries First, at least). The Concorde Room had new carpets fitted before Christmas, but not sure about furniture.

The Galleries Club lounge refurb (both North and South) is ongoing.

Not sure what's happening to the Galleries Club in T5B or Galleries Arrivals.

Is a more thorough refurbishment of the CCR in the cards?

I guess that adding more power outlets it's not included in the refurb...?
