Thanks Buzzz. No apology necessary. I can see where the confusion may have been.

Indeed you did. Here's the salient point from item 1 of the terms:

"Gold Upgrade vouchers are a single cabin class upgrade available on a single or return booking."

Here's a link to the complete terms.

What did you manage to do??

I have a question about the joker + GUF2. I see this mentioned in the guide:

"All flights must be on BA metal (cannot be used on codeshares with AA, CX, etc.), though can be combined with itineraries with seats on other metal if normal availability is available on those flights"

Does this mean I can make a use GUF to upgrade BA flights on a booking with BA flights + CX flights on it?

In my experience, I have been able to do precisely that.

I upgraded two longhaul flights which had a pair of CX flights within.

Looking to use it on a Norway-Australia booking by any chance? I'm struggling to get anything to price which doesn't involve transiting in HKG on the outbound. Inbound you can do SIN as usual.

Therefore I stopped by to ask this exact question!

Yes, for future reference as I am hitting GGL in about a month or two, so when next INCSALE comes through I can book without hesitation, deviation or repetition.

There's an INCSALE and ANCSALE at the moment. Book by today.

Or do you mean this one doesn't work for you so you're waiting on a future one?

I was planning to book in this one but my eVisitor application has been referred, so don't have the certainty I can actually go - hence I will have to wait for next one. I tried contacting the processing centre in Hobart but they are no help as the time difference is massive and just referred me to standard processing times. Unless they get back to me with approval tonight I won't be able to book in this INCSALE with GUF and will wait for the next one...
