This thread gives the current catering options for the Galleries First Lounge (Flounge) in LHR Terminals 3 and 5. This lounge is open to BAEC Gold and oneworld Emerald card holders. Passengers flying BA on a First ticket can also use the Concorde Room. The catering supplier was changed on 2 May 2013 to BaxterStorey. Click here to see the former thread, which covered that turbulent period.

The T3 lounge is identical to T5 in terms of food and drink options. However there is no Concorde Room in T3 so from 18:30 hrs there is a pre-flight dining option for First travellers, see here for more details.

The current catering options in the First lounge can be found in the first post in the thread, or you can click here. Currently lounge menus are not always on display in the lounge, but this link may be your best bet to see the options.

I found the Cornish clotted cream gin to have a bit of a kick.
Dont know the first thing about it so couldn't say what makes a good gin.

Would like it if they could do ciders.

Food wise, had the burger. Skewered tomato on top now rather than a pickle and about twice the chips you used to get.
Saw the nachos and noodles but neither looked to be my cup of tea.

That menu is a bit disappointing... the only thing that doesn't have gluten in (but is still a "may contain" is the ice cream. Oh well, I'll have to make do with many bowls of it

But seriously, shame the curry option has gone

There's some sort of curry in the slop trays, or is that just in GC?
Nothing on the menu to order though.

One of my rare non breakfast visits this month and to be presented with something a tad disappointing....whilst the BA Burger is usually passable last experience of it was gastly.. still a gin promotion sounds fantastic so swings and roundabouts.

I might take take a peek at the lunch offering in GC as when I ventured in T5B lounge recently the breakfast offering had been enhanced totally and in a nice way.

Recently a gold, 1st time here this saturday midday. Wow I was quite impressed, given that the attitude on here, with BA, is usually to expect the worst! The Jeeper Rose is very good, IMO better than Henriot, and I usually prefer white champagne. Henriot was there too with its own little pop up.

New Christmas menus are out?

Sage and Onion Turkey sub. A massive let down. The sub was so monstrously huge and tough!

Jeeper Rose and Canard Duchene being served

Doesnt look appealing I have to say but from thst menu my first choice would be the Chicken Jalfrezi followed by the Mac and cheese and the BA Burger.. Not all on the same day I hasten to add.

Hope you are are enjoying the F lounge and First Wing being relatively newly Gold.

I think you should probably take another look at your list...

I thought it was a joke but it was indeed real. I thought about asking for the burger but after that dish I realised the kitchen is probably not at its best today and I opted for snacks and food from the counter.... What a disappointment !

Is that the bowl of livebait so you can go fishing in the FLounge aquarium then have your sea bass lovingly pan fried?

Pan-fried would be a bonus - surely they’d just stick it on the engine cover of the nearest plane with a tiny bit of (engine) oil?
