This thread gives the current catering options for the Galleries First Lounge (Flounge) in LHR Terminals 3 and 5. This lounge is open to BAEC Gold and oneworld Emerald card holders. Passengers flying BA on a First ticket can also use the Concorde Room. The catering supplier was changed on 2 May 2013 to BaxterStorey. Click here to see the former thread, which covered that turbulent period.

The T3 lounge is identical to T5 in terms of food and drink options. However there is no Concorde Room in T3 so from 18:30 hrs there is a pre-flight dining option for First travellers, see here for more details.

The current catering options in the First lounge can be found in the first post in the thread, or you can click here. Currently lounge menus are not always on display in the lounge, but this link may be your best bet to see the options.

I dimly recall some mirth when BA started using the No1 lounge at Gatwick and their menu included Fishfinger Sandwiches. The menu today in GF includes Fishfinger sandwiches.

While a perfectly suitable meal to be whipped up at 1am when you get home and there is nothing fresh available after a long flight home. But in the First lounge?

Alternatives are two bowls of brown gloop, left over sausages and pasta. Sort of the Student Menu.

They're food matching with Tom's Pies and Castelnau - Reminds me of Lambrini and cheesy chips.

No Jacquart Rosé today, though it was here last Friday. Lentil salad nice, though ordered the tortellini which never arrived?

I've got JW Blue and some half-decent scones, so can't complain too much.

The Variety you mention is likely companies paying BA mega £ to showcase their products. http://www.bamedia.co.uk/downloads/a...-pack-2017.pdf

They'll do anything to get extra revenue while pretending it is a benefit to visitors.

Saw the Jacquard for around £23 the other day in a supermarket so not an overly expensive champagne.

Off topic, the staff shop at MAN apparently had Krug for £113 a bottle should anyone want that
Was Monopole in the MAN lounge when I asked for a glass of bubbles.

Popping in later so will see if there are any fancy yoghurts or whatever on the go.
Failing that, the burger it will be once again and I'll try all the menu in GF should I be up for it.

Flew over Windsor just now and couldn't see anything.

Still giving out cake near the CW desks and at the first wing.
Horses have Union Jack's draped over them in the Flounge.

At least people in the lounges at LHR for this royal wedding aren't stuck while the runways are closed due to a royal flyover. Last time around they handed out champagne in the Flounge and had the Royal Wedding on most of the TVs near the newspapers, but that's about it.

Nothing major at all.

There's not even any displays or promos of anything beyond a few cans of London something or other that I've seen in Tesco in Manchester.

No yoghurts that I noticed or bags of nuts, fancy mixers etc.

The wedding was on the TV's near the papers, and still bits showing but no-one seems too bothered.
Few watching in MAN, and a couple using tablets / phones, but that's it.
Maybe I missed more as it was in earlier so Harry? could pop to the football later
.Added: might be William who can't make it apparently.
Yoghurts seem to have run out or finished already.

The Brut is currently c.£21 in the World Duty Free below T5 GF for reference. Had a glass of both the Brut and Rose today and neither is particularly impressive. Better than Monopole at least.
